Evilyn Riojas

Clinical Case Manager

Specialties: ASD, Independence and Life Skills Development, Children with histories of significant trauma.

With over two decades of combined familial, educational, and professional experience working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum as well as other disabilities, I was raised in a neurodivergent family with a parent on the spectrum that worked with children on the spectrum themselves. I’ve been involved in the education and life skills development of individuals of all ages and disabilities since childhood. I attended Illinois State University’s Special Education program which was regarded as one of the best programs of its kind in the country. After graduating I worked as a special cases manager in the central and southern regions of Illinois’ rural impoverished communities managing DCFS cases where youth, and often their parents, had disabilities and health impairments. Since then, I’ve accrued experience in job coaching, ABA therapy, and most recently before joining Intent Clinical as a clinical case manager in a residential facility for youth who’ve experienced trauma of such intensity it has become a barrier for them and their families to thrive in a home setting. I pride myself on utilizing empathy, patience, and perseverance to identify a client’s strengths and challenges before moving on to help them build skills and the self-confidence it will take to achieve their goals.

I enjoy writing, tabletop role playing games, spending time with friends and family, weightlifting, and hiking.
