O’Connor Professional Group Webinar – Collegial Conversations with Diana Clark – Let’s Talk About Sex… Baby

In this Collegial Conversation, Diana will be joined by Lauren Dummit, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Sex Therapist, and a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist-Supervisor to discuss, well, sex. Join us for an intimate conversation around reducing stigma around sexuality, as well as bringing awareness, healing, and recovery to those in search of a more fulfilled and meaningful life.

About the Guest: Lauren Dummit is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Sex Therapist, and a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist-Supervisor. Lauren’s professional focus is on helping to reduce stigma around mental health issues as well as issues around sexuality and bringing awareness, healing, and recovery to those in search of a more fulfilled and meaningful life. She feels passionate about empowering women in reducing shame around body image and sexuality as well as guiding couples in creating a more fulfilled and pleasurable sex life.

Lauren completed her undergraduate work at UCLA and her M.A. at Antioch University in 2004. She is currently working on her dissertation for the completion of her Ph.D. in Clinical Sexology. Although she spent the early part of her career working with traumatized children and adolescents, the latter half has been devoted to working with adults and the role early trauma has played in the development of intimacy issues.

She has spoken extensively on podcasts and professional seminars and previously co-hosted a weekly radio show on Talk Radio 790 KABC dedicated to the dissemination of topical information associated with sex, relationships, addiction, mental health, and related social issues.

Her areas of expertise are trauma and addiction, relationship issues, as well intimacy and sexuality. Trained in Somatic Experiencing, Neuroaffective Touch, EMDR, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, and Neurofeedback, she works somatically with a wide range of issues.
