His path inspired him to create Veritus. a telehealth program for licensed professionals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues.

Steve Wolt is the President of the Freedom Institute and Veritus. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of Freedom Institute and its programs, overseeing the growth and expansion of both Freedom Institute’s and Veritus’ services. Most recently Steven was CEO and founder of Veritus, Veritus is a telehealth treatment program for licensed professionals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health. Launched in 2020 for medical professionals and then in 2021 for lawyers. Veritus has been highly successful in its combination of telehealth substance abuse treatment and executive coaching to help professionals overcome mental health issues, achieve sobriety, and integrate back into their fields at higher functioning levels while maintaining sobriety.
Steve Wolt brings over 25 years of executive-level business experience to his role as well as personal experience in recovery. Steven has been a leader in the executive benefits and insurance industries having represented law firms and hospital systems. Steven’s personal recovery journey while an executive in corporate America inspired him to create Veritus. His vision was to create innovative new programs to support the Professional struggling with alcohol and drugs that offer higher levels of confidentiality, convenience and integrate clinical treatment and executive coaching
