O’Connor Professional Group Webinar: Making It Stick – Sustainable Eating Disorder Recovery

While eating disorder treatment continuums have traditionally been thought to span from inpatient to outpatient levels of care, what is often overlooked is the ‘view from the ground.’ With environmental and systemic triggers accounting for the majority of relapses, it’s interesting that coaching and other forms of in-home support remain a relatively unchartered path of intervention for eating disorder care provision.

This webinar uses case studies to demonstrate the function of in-home eating disorder support and discusses appropriate interventions for a range of complex eating disorder presentations, including co-occurring substance use, orthorexia, binge eating disorder, and attention deficit disorder. Special attention will also be paid to highlighting the underlying dynamics that impact eating disorder recovery, and the complementary role that in-home support can play both within the family system and individually as an integral part of an existing multidisciplinary eating disorder treatment team or program.

We hope you’ve found this webinar on eating disorder recovery helpful for you and your family. If you would like additional help with finding the appropriate private eating disorder support services for your loved ones, please contact us today for a consultation.
