BIO

Courtney is a licensed therapist in New York and Connecticut. She holds a Masters in Clinical Therapy from Columbia University School of Social Work and a BS from the University of California, Irvine. Courtney worked for years at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell, where she became ever so passionate about helping those who mentally suffer find a way out of suffering. She uses her training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Buddhist Psychology, and Strengths-based practices to help her clients unearth old unhelpful patterns and build healthier ways of seeing themselves and operating in the world. By rewiring and co-creating a new perspective, Courtney helps her clients meet their goals and provides a safe space to examine their lives and relationships with empathy and compassion. Analyzing the genesis of current patterns/issues helps foster shifts in perspective and behavior critical to healthy growth.
