Shawna Gello is a dedicated mental health advocate and professional with a passion for helping others. With over 10 years of experience in the field, Shawna has played integral roles in various capacities within Intent Clinical and other mental health organizations.

Her expertise lies in designing evidence-based interventions that promote resilience and recovery, while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. She has a calm and attentive work style which allows her to help others in times of crises. Shawna is dedicated to helping others achieve their goals and work towards a fulfilling life.

Prior to her current role, Shawna gained valuable experience as a Clinical Coach, Director of Companion Services, and Substance Use Counselor, providing compassionate services to diverse client populations. Her therapeutic approach combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness practices, empowering clients to navigate personal struggles and achieve positive outcomes.

Shawna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Westfield State University and CASAC certification from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Service. Committed to destigmatizing mental illness and promoting mental wellness, Shawna continues to advocate for accessible and inclusive mental health services for all.

In her spare time Shawna enjoys cooking, crafting, and spending time with her family.
