Dr. Colleen Jackson is Intent Clinical’s Director of Assessment. She is a licensed clinical psychologist and is board-certified in clinical neuropsychology. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Connecticut. Dr. Jackson completed her predoctoral clinical internship in dementia clinical research and clinical neuropsychology at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She subsequently completed postdoctoral fellowships specializing in aging, traumatic brain injury, and psychological trauma/PTSD at VA Boston Healthcare System.
In her prior role as a staff neuropsychologist at VA Boston Healthcare System, Dr. Jackson provided direct clinical care to veterans in the form of neuropsychological evaluations and psychotherapy. In this role, she was also involved in clinical training and mentorship, as well as education across clinical disciplines. Dr. Jackson also previously served as the Chief of the Neuropsychology Clinic in the Department of Neurology at Boston Medical Center, where she divided her time between patient care and research. Throughout her career, Dr. Jackson has remained active in research focused on assessment, cognition, and daily functioning across different clinical populations.
Dr. Jackson joined Intent Clinical in 2023 at a consulting Psychologist. In this role, she provided neuropsychological evaluations, as well as consultation to Insight Clinical team members. In her current role as Director of Assessment, Dr. Jackson continues to provide direct clinical care and consultation to Insight Clinical clients and team members, as well as clinical oversight of assessment team members and expansion of assessment services. Dr. Jackson is committed to working collaboratively with clients, and she brings a focus on the client’s unique cognitive and psychological needs, individual strengths, and personal values to her clinical work.
