Arden O'Connor

Founder & CEO

Arden O’Connor founded Intent Clinical with a clear mission: to provide families and individuals with expert guidance and compassionate support through the complexities of behavioral health challenges. Witnessing her own brother’s struggle with addiction and anxiety over more than a decade, Arden recognized the need for a more personalized, high-touch approach to care. She established Intent Clinical, formerly O’Connor Professional Group, to help families like hers navigate the often-fragmented treatment landscape with trusted expertise.

Under Arden’s leadership, Intent Clinical has evolved into a premier provider of concierge-level behavioral health services, supporting thousands of clients globally across a range of challenges, including substance use disorders, mental health conditions, eating disorders, aging-related concerns, neurocognitive disorders, and developmental difficulties. By focusing on customized, evidence-based solutions, Arden and her team ensure that individuals receive the right care at the right time and in the right setting.

Arden is a graduate of both Harvard College and Harvard Business School and remains actively involved in community service and advocacy. She has served on the boards of several organizations, including the Winsor School Corporation, the Harvard Club of Boston, the Massachusetts Association of Mental Health, and the Harvard Business School Alumni Association of Boston. Additionally, she is a member of the Collaboration for Families Flourishing and the Women Presidents Organization (WPO). She is also the co-host of the Conversations with Intent Podcast, where she and Diana Clark explore mental health, family dynamics, and resilience, offering insight and guidance for life’s most complex challenges.

Arden is a nationally recognized speaker on the intersection of behavioral health and wealth management. She frequently advises private wealth advisors, law firms, and family offices on best practices for addressing the nuanced complexities of mental health conditions, addiction, aging care, infertility, and family dynamics within affluent families. By offering strategic guidance and personalized insights, she equips advisors with the expertise and resources to handle these sensitive matters discreetly and effectively, ensuring their clients receive the comprehensive care and support they deserve.
