In this week’s Collegial Conversations, Diana’s guest is Dr. Joshua Tal. Dr. Tal. is a Clinical Psychologist who specializes in the treatment of insomnia and post-concussion anxiety. He uses cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and other modalities to treat patients at his Manhattan and New Jersey group practice. Dr. Tall conducts problem-focused, short-term sessions to help his clients overcome their symptoms and reignite their ambitions. He and Diana discuss his work, including the importance of sleep hygiene.

BIO

Joshua Tal has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and specializes in the treatment of insomnia and post-concussion anxiety. Dr. Tal studied sleep and evidenced-based treatments under top clinicians and researchers at Stanford University and Veterans Affairs hospitals across the country. He uses CBT and other modalities to treat his patients with these conditions at his group practice on Manhattan’s Upper West Side and in Bergen County, New Jersey. Dr. Tal uses a holistic approach to insomnia and concussion anxiety, reducing dependence on medications and improving quality of life. Through problem focused, short-term sessions and a compassionate, understanding approach, Dr. Tal has helped clients overcome their symptoms and recapture their ambitions.
