BIO

Amanda Wilson MD is the Co-Founder, and CEO of NorthStar Care Inc.; she has founded three companies in the addiction treatment space. Board Certified as an Addiction Medicine Physician, she is a thought leader in addiction treatment. In 2009 she founded CleanSlate Centers, Inc., the first national, SAMHSA award-winning, physician led, office-based, clinical program for treating Opioid addiction. As the Founder and Chairwoman of the Board, she charted new territory in the development of a Harm-Reduction focused program for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). CleanSlate currently has over 80 clinical centers in 15 states and has provided care to over 110,000 individuals.

Taking the many learnings from growing CleanSlate, she then co-Founded Boulder Care, Inc., a national Telehealth solution for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) treatment in 2017. Boulder Care has treated tens of thousands of people with OUD and is the recipient of a National Institute of Drug Abuse Grant for evaluating the use of Telehealth in the Opioid Use Disorder clinical treatment space.

Inadequate options for treatment for Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) inspired the creation of NorthStar Care, Inc., a comprehensive, physician led, personalized Alcohol treatment program. NorthStar Care is unique in leveraging digital technologies and cutting-edge clinical science including Virtual Reality, Telehealth, Wearable Monitoring Devices, Pharmaco-genomic based medical treatments, and other evidence-based interventions that dramatically improve treatment outcomes.
