Carolyn Koehnline is a clutter and transitions coach in Bellingham, WA, where she had a psychotherapy practice for three decades. She combines psychological perspectives, compassionate practices, expressive arts, and practical strategies to address the external and internal clutter that blocks life force and wants changes. As a coach, she invites a gentle approach to clutter clearing and frames it as a way to ritualize the transition from one life phase to another. Carolyn offers individual coaching, workshops, and worship services and has been a featured speaker for many secular and spiritual communities. She is certified as a Journal Therapist and is a core faculty member of the Therapeutic Writing Institute. Her books include Confronting Your Clutter, The Bear’s Gift, and Clearing Clutter as a Sacred Act: Essays, Poems, and Practices.
