KEY TAKEAWAYS:

  • Oftentimes someone’s rock bottom is not circumstantial or due to material consequences. It’s really an emotional and spiritual rock bottom.
  • Jaywalker Lodge offers niche treatment for men that have had multiple previous treatment attempts. Men are usually around the age of 28 and have been to three to seven previous treatment experiences.
  • Often when you scratch the surface of entitlement, it is really a learned helplessness and a deep set of shame beliefs. These men question their abilities and capabilities in the world and don’t think that they’re going to be able to take care of themselves.
