She spent most of her career with a health advisory firm, acting as a patient advocate and later leading patient advocacy teams as she supported thousands of people through diagnostic challenges that spanned all medical diagnoses, including behavioral health.

As a lifelong learner, Nicki has studied Six Sigma for process improvement and recently obtained her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
