Dr. Jenn Nielsen, PsyD., is a Connecticut-licensed, PSYPACT-approved psychologist with extensive experience supporting employee wellbeing and organizational mental health. As an in-house psychologist at Synchrony Financial and through her work with the Employer Services Division at Intent Clinical, Dr. Nielsen has developed innovative approaches to integrating mental health services and solutions into the workplace, helping employers address the complex needs of their workforce.

Dr. Nielsen earned her B.A. in Psychology at The University of Michigan and completed her Master of Education (M.S.Ed.) and Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in School-Clinical Psychology at Pace University in New York City. She further enhanced her expertise with a postgraduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Pennsylvania State University. Combining her clinical training with real-world experience, Dr. Nielsen delivers tailored mental health and wellness support, including therapy, coaching, crisis response, and psychoeducational presentations, to employees and their families.

Dr. Nielsen’s work addresses critical barriers to accessing care, such as cost, navigating a complicated and disjointed healthcare system, time, and stigma, offering employees an opportunity to prioritize their mental health in a safe and supportive environment. Her solutions have been featured in the Wall Street Journal and CNBC, receiving praise for fostering psychological safety, enhancing productivity, and reducing turnover.
