December 12, 2022

O’Connor Professional Group Webinar – Collegial Conversations with Diana Clark – Adolescent Mental Health

In this week’s Collegial Conversations, Diana’s guest is Ted Miller, a transformational coach, and instructor of social and emotional learning courses for adolescents. Ted has developed and implemented a curriculum to help teens build and strengthen their emotional intelligence skills. He talks with Diana about adolescent mental health and the prevalence of anxiety among teens.

BIO

Ted began his work in the field of mental health in 2011. His jobs since have included working as a recovery counselor, a case manager, a licensed therapist, and a high school instructor in Human Development. Currently, Ted works as both a transformational coach and an instructor of social-emotional learning courses for adolescents. In his teaching work, he has designed and implemented curricula to help teens to develop and strengthen their emotional intelligence skills. As a coach, he has a dynamic approach to his work, where he seeks to assist anyone who feels stuck in any aspect of their lives. Whether someone is attempting to work through emotional challenges, break through barriers related to their career or business, or simply increase their sense of happiness and fulfillment, his coaching aims to help people level up their lives. By drawing upon tools of mindfulness, NLP (neurolinguistic programming), and his natural ability to listen from a heart-centered place, Ted’s number one goal in his work is to assist his clients in accessing their own inner strength and wisdom. He has been working with adolescents and adults for over ten years to help them clear negative beliefs and step into their strength to achieve their personal and professional goals.
