O’Connor Professional Group Webinar – Collegial Conversations with Diana Clark – The Nuts & Bolts of Art Therapy

In this Collegial Conversation with Diana Clark, Jen Ziefert, Art Therapist,  joins Diana to discuss the role of art therapy in treating disorders such as substance use disorders, eating disorders, mood disorders and trauma. Join us to learn how art can be used as a form of treatment!

About the Guest:

In art therapy, the creative process fosters self-exploration and expression in a number of ways. Jen Ziefert believes we all have within us what is needed to grow and ultimately heal. The journey is different for everyone and a combination of treatment modalities is consistently most effective in supporting the whole person.

She has over 15 years clinical experience working with persons navigating both eating and substance use disorders, depression and anxiety, trauma, identity and relational issues, and an array of life changes. Jen’s work focuses on developing mindfulness and self-compassion in the healing process. She weaves together art therapy with different modalities such as CBT and DBT in order to best support the client’s individual process.
