Director of Companion Services

Christina Cicarella is Intent Clinical’s Director of Companion Services. Christina has worked in the mental and behavioral health field for over 9 years and is incredibly passionate about her work. She began her career in an emergency youth shelter, working with children presenting with a variety of mental health diagnoses and learning disabilities. Since then, she has worked as a case manager and program director in a variety of treatment settings, ranging from short-term treatment for adolescents impacted by multiple diagnoses to long-term treatment for women presenting with a variety of substance use, mood, and personality disorders. Christina strives to help clients by removing obstacles that may hinder their ability to access appropriate resources. Her approach focuses on building and utilizing the skills needed to manage mental and behavioral health challenges while empowering clients to have a voice in their treatment and recovery. In her free time, Christina enjoys reading, creating and playing music, and spending time outdoors with her daughter and partner. She is also actively engaged in local volunteer support groups for substance use disorders.
